From New Delhi, take a flight to

From New Delhi, take the New Delhi-Bhatinda Express which
comes directly to Patiala or else you can take any of the numerous
trains from New Delhi to Ambala and then hire a taxi for the 45 min.

Patiala lies just off the excellent National Highway #1
(Delhi-Amritsar) and is about 250 Km from Delhi. The journey via Ambala
Cantt. takes about 4 hours. You can also drive to Patiala from
Chandigarh, via Zirakpur (on NH 22), and Rajpura.

Patiala has a few budget and 3-star hotels. However,
Chandigarh and Ludhiana, both over an hour's drive away, offer varied
options, including deluxe hotels.
